About Us
The Oklahoma Restaurant Association is the trade association of restaurants and foodservice operations, the state’s largest private industry employer. Representing more than 4,000 restaurants and members, the ORA develops the membership to do together for the industry what cannot be done individually.

We lead Oklahoma’s foodservice and hospitality industry by elevating its prosperity, prominence, and participation, enhancing the quality of life for all we serve.

Our mission is to serve our members by advancing and protecting Oklahoma’s foodservice and hospitality industry.

 
History
Founded in 1933, the ORA is now one of the largest trade associations in the state of Oklahoma.

Members of the ORA will come together for Hospitality Day at the Capitol, where we will spend time speaking to legislators about issues facing our industry, and then culminate in a fabulous reception with more than 600 members and legislators at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center.

Beginning October 1, first-time applicants applying for an alcohol server license will be required to attend a mandatory ABLE approved training course to receive their license. ServSafe Alcohol, a partnership between the Oklahoma Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association, is an on-line training course now approved to meet this new mandate. Those registering by 12/31/18 receive a 33% discount with code OKALCOHOL.
