Alcohol Compliance Education (ACE)

Is this course Mandatory or Voluntary?
This Oklahoma state-wide mandated certification course is approved by the ABLE Commission and meets all requirements for responsible alcohol server licensure.

ACE is your IN-PERSON option for proof of alcohol compliance training. If you prefer an ONLINE training option, visit ORA's ServSafe Alcohol Training site for more information.

Why Is ACE Training Important?
Did you know that you, your business, and your staff may be held liable if an intoxicated guest leaves your establishment and causes an accident? Serving alcohol can leave a business and its employees vulnerable, and the Oklahoma Restaurant Association wants to help protect you with its Alcohol Compliance Education (ACE) program.

ACE Training
ACE is a comprehensive training program that is approved by the Oklahoma Alcoholic Beverage Laws Enforcement Commission (ABLE) and covers any recent changes to Oklahoma's alcoholic beverage laws.

The ACE program is designed to:

  • Instill in managers and servers an increased awareness of the dangers of drinking alcoholic beverages, including low point beer, wine coolers, etc., and the misuse of alcohol.
  • Provide practical tips to employers/employees who sell beer and similar products, and give servers ideas on how to deal with customers.
  • Inform employers/employees and the industry of their legal responsibilities.
  • Eliminate the sale of alcohol to minors and help reduce drunk driving accidents and deaths. Oklahoma law provides for a maximum Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) of .08.

Teach your employees how to:

  • Identify signs of intoxication
  • Recognize false identification
  • Apply Oklahoma laws regarding sales and services
  • Deal positively with customers

Our instructors can conduct two-hour seminars at your site or our facility. We will teach 15 or more of your staff and provide them with a wallet-size card as well as a Compliance Certificate for your business.

The fee for the class starts at $400 for ORA Members and $600 for non-members, plus mileage (outside the Metro area) @ $.55 per mile, and hotel and meal expenses, if applicable.

Contact Elizabeth Sanchez at (405) 942-8181 or (800) 375-8181 to schedule your ACE class.
