Jim Hopper
President & CEO

Represents industry views & interests before state legislative & regulatory agencies. Coordinates with officers, the board of directors and contract lobbyist.  Serves as industry spokesperson and coordinates with National Restaurant Association on federal issues and events.

 
Debra Bailey
Deputy Director/Chief Financial Officer 

Responsible for fiscal management of the association, directs staff activities, office operations, and communicates with officers, board members and contract lobbyist as needed.  Also serves as CEO to the Oklahoma Travel Industry Association.

 

 
Elizabeth "Bety" Balderas
Coordinator, Sonic/ServSafe, and Registration

Maintains all records for Sonic ServSafe classes and coordinates Alcohol Compliance Education “ACE” training classes. Manages event registration.
Jillian Bishop
Manager, Training & Accounting

Manages all ServSafe sanitation training classes and other educational training opportunities. Also manages ORA’s accounts receivable.

 
Patti Colley
Chief Strategy Officer 


Works with the President/CEO to communicate the association's mission and strategies. Directs activities surrounding association meetings and events. Responsible for Strategic Partnerships/sponsorships, marketing collaborations, and industry relations. Also, serves as Chief Strategy Officer of the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association. 
 
Linda Etherton
Director, Convention

Manages association graphic design needs, as well as the OH&LA Vendor Expo including convention booth sales, logistics, and exhibitor relations. Also serves as Director, Convention of the Oklahoma Restaurant Convention & Expo. 

 
Collin Graham
Director, Membership 

Primary contact for the industry as it relates to member enrollment, retention, research and discount program enrollment, as well as Alcohol Compliance Training and regulatory and operational research for members. Directs activities surrounding the development of preferred member programs.
Theresa Martin
Manager, Meetings & Events

Primary member contact for event registration. Manages details involved with planning association meetings and events.

 
Shannon Moad
Manager, Industry Communications

Initiates and manages all industry communications including ORA publications, web, public relations, and advertising.

 
Chandy Rice
Director, Education & Student Programs


Directs the training and educational opportunities for members, including speaker/facilitator considerations. Also directs Oklahoma's ProStart Program, a nationally recognized culinary and hospitality certification in high schools and technology centers within the state. Works to provide job placement and mentoring activities within the industry. Is the primary point of contact for activities involving the Oklahoma Hospitality Foundation.
 
Benny Vanatta
Contract Lobbyist 

Represents industry issues at the state capitol and state agencies.


 
Debbie Weiss
Director, Member Care

Manages member fulfillment including member and non-member databases, dues billings, and collection, retention programs, and endorsed partner relations.

Members of the ORA will come together for Hospitality Day at the Capitol, where we will spend time speaking to legislators about issues facing our industry, and then culminate in a fabulous reception with more than 600 members and legislators at the Chevy Bricktown Events Center.

The ORA Academy is back in January with our popular BOH/Culinary and FOH/Management tracks, and we're excited to bring these training classes to Tulsa - as well as OKC - in 2018! The goal of the Academy is to offer continuing education and professional development to particular demographics of ORA’s membership.
