Music Licensing savings as much as 5-10% off BMI fees.
​BMI represents the public performance rights in millions of musical works created and owned by hundreds of thousands of songwriters, composers, and music publishers. BMI negotiates music license agreements and distributes the fees it generates as royalties to its affiliated writers and publishers when their songs are performed in public.

Effective May 2026, BMI has simplified how savings are structured and communicated. ORA members will continue to automatically receive 5% off, along with an additional 5% in savings when they pay online at bmi.com/ede for a total association benefit of up to 10% off BMI fees.

In addition to association member savings, BMI currently offers other savings opportunities that may be available based on how and when customers license and pay. Today, these include a one‑time 10% savings for customers who complete the license conversion process through the Licensing Center before cancellation (or who license and pay in full in the Licensing Center as new customers), as well as 2% savings for customers who pay in full via eCheck.
