ServSafe Food Handler

​Is this course Mandatory or Voluntary?
ServSafe Food Handler is an encouraged course, however is not mandated in Oklahoma.

In Oklahoma, some counties or municipalities do mandate that one manager or server per restaurant property be a Certified Food Manager (CFM). For this course and certification, you want to enroll for ServSafe Manager.
ServSafe® Food Handler Program
The premier provider of food safety training is proud to offer solutions to meet any food handler training need. Whether you are an employee seeking your Food Handler Card or an operation seeking a compliant solution for your employees, the National Restaurant Association’s ServSafe® Food Handler Program has a product that’s right for you.

The ServSafe® Food Handler Program is available in formats tailored to your online or in-person learning environment. This two-hour course offers the basics of food safety and sanitation practices and techniques and is designed for all team members.
