Educational Scholarships
Are you currently enrolled or about to enroll in a college hospitality industry program, like Hospitality Tourism Management or Culinary Arts Education? If so, be sure to apply for the ORA Scholarship, to be used toward the pursuit of undergraduate or continuing education at a post-secondary accredited institution.

Scholarships are offered to OSUIT, Okmulgee and OSU Hospitality Tourism Management Program, Stillwater Students.

How Scholarship Applications are Selected:
Student applications will be reviewed by the committee and qualifying applications will be contacted by phone and email to set up an in-person interview with the scholarship committee. Applications open between December (fall semester) or January (early spring semester) and open for submissions for approximately 4-6 weeks. Applicant Requirements:
- Applicants must provide proof that they are: Currently enrolled in a post secondary culinary/hospitality program at OSUIT or OSU HTM
- Must have performed a minimum of 250 hours of related work experience in the hospitality field
- Must obtain and submit two letters of recommendation – one from a faculty member and another from a hospitality industry employer
- Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale
Required Documentation:
- 500 word essay. Explain your reason(s) for applying for a scholarship and why you feel you should receive one, the type of career in the hospitality industry you plan to pursue and your future goals.
- Copies of paycheck stubs or letter(s) from employer(s) indicating that applicant has completed a minimum of 250 hours of hospitality-related work.
- A copy of your current college or high school transcript.
- Two letters of recommendation – one from a faculty member and another from an industry employer (must be signed and on letterhead to be accepted).
